Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 40 Update
Hombale Films’ Mahavatar Narsimha has been rewriting history at the Indian box office. This animated devotional epic has stunned trade experts and audiences alike with its remarkable performance. Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the film has not only turned into a blockbuster but also stands as one of the most profitable ventures of 2025, achieving a jaw-dropping 1500% return on investment.

On Day 40, the film added ₹65 lakhs to its kitty, showcasing a strong 71% growth courtesy of Tuesday’s discounted ticket prices. With this, the film’s net collection in India has reached ₹241.90 crores (all languages included). While this puts the film just ₹8.10 crores away from the magical ₹250 crore milestone, the upcoming releases—Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files—might snatch away its chances to hit the big number.
Box Office Competition & Challenges
Despite facing stiff three-way competition from Saiyaara, Param Sundari, and War 2, Mahavatar Narsimha has stood tall for over a month. However, with Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files releasing on September 5, its box office momentum could finally slow down.
